Recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers UK, the firm is known for its specialist expertise, collaborative culture, and commitment to innovation in response to evolving legislation such as the Building Safety Act 2022. Job Description Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a driven and commercially astute solicitor to join its non-contentious construction team. You'll advise on a wide range of construction procurement matters, draft and negotiate contracts, and play a key role in client relationships, business development, and mentoring junior colleagues. Key Responsibilities Independently manage complex construction transactions and draft a range of contracts including JCT, NEC, and bespoke agreements. Advise on procurement strategy, risk allocation, and regulatory compliance, particularly in relation to the Building Safety Act and Fire Safety Act. Engage in client‑facing work, including negotiations, training, and seminars. Contribute to internal know‑how, mentoring, and team development. The Successful Applicant Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law. Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with experience advising on JCT and NEC contracts. Commercially minded, proactive, and confident in client‑facing roles. Experience in the social housing or development sector is advantageous but not essential.
