OverviewMount Abraham Union Middle/High School is seeking a motivated and organized individual to oversee the implementation of the student mentoring program in partnership with DREAM’s Guided Mentoring initiative. This role supports meaningful mentoring relationships between high school students and elementary-aged youth through program coordination, planning, and community collaboration.Primary ResponsibilitiesOversee and facilitate the student mentoring program on Tuesdays from 2:00–5:00 PM across Mount Abraham Union Middle/High School and Bristol Elementary SchoolParticipate in one hour of virtual planning and coordination meetings weeklySupport and assist DREAM’s Guided Mentoring team in developing engaging and effective programming for high school mentors and elementary menteesServe as a liaison between DREAM and Bristol’s Expanded Learning ProgramHelp recruit and organize high school mentors, ensuring consistent meeting times and spaces for both mentor group meetings and mentor-mentee sessionsCollaborate with DREAM staff to support implementation of the Mentor-in-Training curriculum and Village Mentoring activitiesAct as a point person for high school mentors by distributing materials and resources and assisting with enrollment and participation formsPlan and facilitate fun, play-based, and developmentally appropriate activities aligned with Guided Mentoring’s objectivesAttend weekly in-school and afterschool sessions to support mentors and menteesBuild strong, supportive relationships with high school mentor groups and individualsFoster a positive, inclusive mentoring community that connects youth across grade levelsStrengthen partnerships with families and community organizations to support program goalsOther duties as assigned by the program director.Compensation & TypeStarting salary is $25.00 per hour and may increase based on experience, in accordance with the Non-Union Support Staff Agreement.Position Type: Part-timeJob Categories: State-level Positions > CoordinatorAbout Mount Abraham Unified School DistrictMount Abraham Unified School District is located in Addison County and includes the town school districts of: Bristol (Bristol Elementary PreK-6), Monkton (Monkton Central School K-6) New Haven (Beeman Elementary School K-6), Starksboro (Robinson Elementary School K-6), and Mt.
