**What is a mentor?**

A mentor is someone who motivates, guides and listens, supporting someone to reach their goals on a 1:1 basis in the community. A mentor may help individuals of any age to build their confidence, resilience and independence, exploring different approaches with each client so that they may achieve their next steps.
