PR & Communications Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident PR Specialist to help us maximise our reach and make Hurree the go-to name in data and analytics while also building the profile of our CEO, Aaron Gibson, as a leading voice in the industry. As our PR & Communications Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our brand’s reputation, securing media opportunities, driving thought leadership, and ensuring our message reaches the right audience. You will also be responsible for elevating our CEO’s presence in the media and industry conversations through strategic PR initiatives and his podcast, SaaSy AF . If you’re passionate about storytelling, media relations, and positioning a tech brand and its leadership for success, we’d love to hear from you. We are open to remote opportunities, but you must either be based in the UK or Ireland, and be willing to travel to Belfast regularly. Please do not apply if you do not meet this criteria. Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers in the B2B tech and SaaS industries. Identify PR opportunities and pitch stories, press releases, and thought leadership content to relevant publications. Secure media coverage in industry-leading outlets, ensuring Hurree’s message reaches the right audience. Monitor media trends and ensure Hurree is part of relevant industry conversations. Respond to media inquiries and manage crisis communications if necessary. Sourcing Guests & Fact-Checking for Podcasts Research and identify high-profile guests for SaaSy AF, Hurree CEO Aaron Gibson’s podcast, ensuring they align with our brand and audience. Manage guest outreach, coordination, and pre-interview preparations. Conduct thorough fact-checking on guest credentials and key discussion points to maintain credibility and authority. Assist in shaping podcast content to align with Aaron’s thought leadership and brand voice. CEO Thought Leadership & Content Creation Work closely with the CEO to develop a strong executive brand through articles, op-eds, LinkedIn posts, and industry event speaking engagements. Ghostwrite compelling content that positions Hurree’s leadership as industry experts in data analytics and AI. Secure opportunities for the CEO to contribute to media outlets, podcasts, and conferences. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align thought leadership content with Hurree’s wider marketing and PR strategy. Identify and secure speaking engagements and panel opportunities for the CEO and key executives. Work with event organisers to position Hurree’s leadership as thought leaders in data analytics, AI, and SaaS. Coordinate presentation materials and talking points for media appearances and conferences. About You Experience : 3+ years in PR, communications, journalism or content marketing within the B2B tech or SaaS sector. Media-Savvy : Proven track record of securing media coverage and building relationships with journalists. Network : Have a good network of contacts and relationships you can leverage. Content Expertise : Strong writing skills, with experience in ghostwriting, executive thought leadership, and PR storytelling. Podcast Enthusiast : Familiarity with podcast production, guest sourcing, and fact-checking. Strategic Thinker : Ability to identify PR opportunities that align with Hurree’s mission and industry trends. Agency Relations : Experience in managing relationships with external PR stakeholders. Social Media Know-How : Comfortable leveraging LinkedIn and Twitter for brand positioning and executive visibility. Organised & Detail-Oriented : Ability to manage multiple PR campaigns, deadlines, and media relations simultaneously. Why Join Hurree?
