Interim Finance Director (6 - 9 months FTC) Join to apply for the Interim Finance Director (6 - 9 months FTC) role at Ocean Technologies Group PLEASE NOTE: NO AGENCY CVS WILL BE CONSIDERED Application Deadline: 5 December 2025 Department: Finance Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract Location: UK, London The Interim Finance Director role reports to the CFO and is for an initial 6‑month contract with potential to extend. The role will support the CFO in transforming legacy systems and processes, driving greater efficiency and alignment across the business, develop the Finance team, review and streamline data sources, and enhance automation. Key Responsibilities Partner with the CFO to review and strengthen the Finance organisation to ensure it's well‑structured, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. Engage with Finance team members to understand current processes, challenges and opportunities for improvement. Support the ongoing development of Finance roles and responsibilities to enhance collaboration and effectiveness across the team. Oversee the review and integration of Finance systems, including ERP, to drive automation and data consistency. Implement best practices in cash flow forecasting and working capital management. Enhance reporting processes for the Board, Group, lenders and the Digital Leadership Team. Qualifications Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) plus a relevant degree. Extensive post‑qualification experience (PQE), ideally within a complex or fast‑paced environment. Strong, hands‑on NetSuite experience, with the ability to use and optimise the system as a core part of the finance function. Experience with SaaS preferred. Proficiency with Netsuite, Salesforce, Power BI and AI preferred. Extensive transformation and change‑management experience. Financial controller experience. Technical accounting, Power BI/AI/reporting skills, excellent Excel and PowerPoint, ERP other system skills. Benefits Private medical insurance. Matching pension contribution up to 5%.
