Working closely with the Director of Finance (College Group), you will oversee the Colleges reconciliations and reporting, and act as a point of escalation whenever required. You will also review and approve all transactional finance activity, including: accounts payable, accounts receivable and banking and ensure 'month-end' deadlines are met and accounts are reconciled in a timely manner. In addition to this you will review operational finance and payroll processes, making recommendations for control and efficiency improvements. The interviews for this role will be taking place on Monday 17th November & Wednesday 19th November. So if you're considering applying for this role please keep these dates as free as possible. The successful candidate must: Qualified Accountant (CCAB/CIMA), or completed AAT Level 4 Have previous management or supervisory experience of transactional finance staff High level spreadsheets and pivot tables used by managers as an information tool Have excellent IT knowledge, particularly in Microsoft Excel Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent Previous experience within an Education environment is also desirable.
