(Ref: BU03911) As part of the School of Health Sciences Diagnostic Radiography programme's current ambition and growth, we seek to recruit a full-time Lecturer in Health Sciences in Diagnostic Radiography to cover maternity leave until 31/12/2026. We can offer a stimulating environment and support to enable the successful candidate to fulfil their professional ambitions.The successful candidate will have opportunities to contribute to teaching and learning for diagnostic radiography.Candidates should have current professional registration (on the appropriate part of the register) with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a specialist qualification in Radiography.Available at Grade 7, the post provides an opportunity for aspiring or experienced candidates to take the programme forward with the team.We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in, for example, imaging across modalities, physics, technology relating to diagnostic radiography, ultrasound for Radiography service workforce provision.Applications are invited from individuals who can support a portfolio of education for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.Our mission is to mobilise expertise and experience to generate new solutions to health challenges.We do this by leading health care research, scholarship, teaching and learning that is of the highest possible standard, quality and value to service users, practitioners and stakeholders.We aim to be an international example of best practice in partnership-working with students, professionals, health and social care services, and policy makers.We pay attention to demonstrating the links between our research and teaching activities, and in providing our students with excellent learning experiences that equip them with the ability to succeed in their professional careers.The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible.This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.This role will be located on campus at Bangor with travel to the Wrexham Campus.Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.The post is offered as a full-time post but applications will also be considered to carry out this role on a part-time or job share basis.Applications will only be accepted via our on-line recruitment website, jobs.bangor.ac.uk.However, in cases of access issues due to disability, paper application forms are available by telephoning 01248 383865.
