Research Assistant Role at the Centre for the Politics of Feelings Join us as a part‑time Research Assistant (0.6 FTE) at the interdisciplinary Centre for the Politics of Feelings, a partnership between the School of Advanced Study, University of London and Royal Holloway, University of London. Overview The Centre is devoted to understanding how affect and emotions shape political behaviour and how politics influences emotions. Role and Responsibilities The post‑holder will assist the development of the Centre’s research activities, including implementation of research projects, dissemination activities, grant applications and organisational aspects of our operations. Opportunities to earn authorship on publications, present at scientific meetings and conferences, and connect with partners nationally and internationally will also be available. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, political science or a related discipline is required. A Master’s level degree in these areas is highly desirable. Previous experience in similar roles is highly desirable. Quantitative research skills in psychology or political science are essential. Strong organisational, written and oral communication skills and an interest in interdisciplinary research are required.
