Our goal is to be Earth’s most customer-centric company and we are just getting started.Amazon UK Fresh is seeking a talented and experienced Retail Operations Communications Manager to help embed a culture of best practice sharing, collaboration, and knowledge transfer across our growing physical stores business.This multi-faceted role requires the ability to work backwards from ambiguous customer requirements to distil clear and concise communication objectives, and then determine the most suitable approach to deliver results; utilising our existing range of channels and tools.The successful candidate will have a solid track record of thinking big to build successful communications programs that help achieve organizational strategies and objectives. In addition, they will demonstrate strong writing and editing skills for both original content as well as rewriting and optimising content from subject matter experts.Meticulous at planning and co-ordination, this person will be responsible for facilitating quarterly All Teams Meetings across Amazon Fresh, and creating engaging touchpoints that connect Field teams with their Corporate peers to foster inclusive working relationships.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: London, Manchester GBRLocationBasic QualificationsExperience working cross functionally with non-tech teamsExperience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsExperience driving program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience in program or project managementExperience in creating internal communication frameworks within a retail environment, that connect with wider organisational goals.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a matrixed organizationMaster\'s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related fieldKey job responsibilitiesDrive a world-class field communications strategy, aligned with Fresh business objectives and integrated with the wider UK&IE Operations Internal Communications strategyImplement the tactical plan that drives awareness and adoption of best practice, programs, and initiatives aimed at improving field productivity and implementationPropose and execute new ways of creating and distributing communications that expand program awareness and adoptionWork cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to produce compelling and effective content for a variety of audiences and channels including (but not limited to) email newsletters, videos, and digital broadcastsManage an internal communications calendarInstitutionalise an effective methodology for measuring the success of field communicationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience working cross functionally with non-tech teamsExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsExperience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardizationExperience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience with basic web-based tools and products like Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePointPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience leading process improvementsExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesMaster\'s degree, or Bachelor\'s degreeAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
