Live-in Care Professional (self employed) Join to apply for the Live-in Care Professional (self employed) role at Radfield Home Care (UK). Pay: £900–£1100 (£50 living allowance/expense) per week. Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire (we prefer applicants who live locally as clients are in Shrewsbury). Previous Live-in Care Experience is Required We are unable to provide sponsorship for applicants. You must already have the Right to Work in the United Kingdom. Your Roles & Responsibilities Live with a client for 2 weeks at a time, perhaps supporting a couple. Provide companionship and assist with day-to-day care to maintain client independence. Assist with medication administration. Manual handling and use of equipment where required. Promote health and well‑being for clients, enabling them to live their life to their full potential. Household tasks and cleaning. Provide personal care. Prepare meals. Shopping. Take clients to social events. Offer companionship. Your Experience & Suitability Previous live-in care experience is required. You will be introduced to your client over a period of time to acclimatise and to get to know one another. Live-in care is a big commitment, spending 2 weeks at a time with a client, with the same amount of time off. Benefits Competitive rates of £900–£1100 per week (dependent on complexity of care needs). A weekly £50 food allowance. Access to Blue Light Card & Blue Light Tickets. Ongoing training and support. Regular, scheduled daily and weekly breaks, with a defined schedule of work vs downtime during each day. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
