Structural Clinical Nurse Specialist MDT coordinatorWe have an amazing opportunity for two experienced nurse to join our world leading team at St Bartholomew's Hospital. The post holders will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with structural heart disease as well as patients with acute coronary syndrome.To have excellent communication with patients, their families, colleagues, and other members of the internal and external multidisciplinary team.To support the team coordinating MDT's for the structural team and the acute coronary care team and enacting the MDT plansTo work collaboratively in Consultant-led clinicsTo be a member of the ward-based Structural and ACS teams; reviewing patients pre and post intervention and providing support to nursing staff.Be an active member of the valve multidisciplinary/ACS team meeting; advocating for patients.To undertake regular teaching, training, and mentorship of the nursing team in the provision of care for Structural heart disease patients/ACS.To actively participate in and promote research and service improvement and development.The post holder will be based at Barts Heart CentreMain duties of the jobThe MDT coordinator's post is to provide dedicated support to the structural cardiology multi-disciplinary teams ("MDT"). The post holder will be expected to ensure the MDT runs smoothly and to time. Post holder will be required to live type at the meeting, which will be signed off by MDT Lead. They need to ensure all patients are discussed within agreed timescales, and treatment plans are actioned post MDT meeting.
