SEN Support Assistant

Willoughby Road Primary Academy are looking to appoint a temporary SEN Support Assistant for 32.5 hours per week, term time only to join the academy as soon as possible. This is a fixed position until 31 August 2026. The position is linked to EHCP funding and will support pupils on a 1:2:1 basis to ensure they are accessing the curriculum and developing their understanding, whilst providing support for their emotional wellbeing and individual needs. Your new role As a SEN Support Assistant, you will provide one-to-one personal support for pupils with additional needs who are in receipt of an Education Health Care Plan. You will provide special educational and/or medical support to ensure their successful engagement with and access to learning. You will need to maintain professional records and appropriate notes in relation to the individual pupil.
