Haxey C of E Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs). If you are someone who believes that all pupils regardless of their personal circumstances can excel and you have the ability to engage, enthuse and inspire our young people, then this job is for youThe post is permanent and part time. The grade is to - £18, - £19, gross per annum (30 hours per week).We are looking for someone who can provide the love, care and support our children need, as well as carrying out interventions to support with their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is essential; however, training and ongoing support will be provided for the successful candidate.Working hours – 30 hours per week - Monday to Friday – , including 30 minutes for lunch (term time only plus 5 training days)The successful applicant will have:· An understanding of EHCPs.· The knowledge of how to support pupils with additional needs.· Excellent communication skills.· Be able to work as part of team as well as using your initiative.· Be willing to adapt and be flexible to changing circumstances.· Patience, resilience, calmness and a positive mindset.We offer you:· Wonderful children and families.· The chance to be part of a brilliant, dedicated team.· A proactive and supportive Senior Leadership Team.· Support and guidance by our SENCo and other staff.· Access a range of CPD and development through Infinity Academies Trust.· Access to the Employee Assistance Programme.Candidates are both welcome and encouraged to visit the school by appointment.
