The Role As Production Supervisor, you will oversee the night-shift production operations, ensuring that all packing lines are running efficiently, safely, and in line with the company’s high quality standards. You will work closely with Line Leaders, the Production Supervisor, and the Production Manager to maintain smooth workflows, address quality concerns, and support continuous improvement across the department. Key Responsibilities Lead and drive night-shift production lines to maximise efficiency without compromising product quality. Work closely with Line Leaders on daily quality matters and address any issues promptly. Respond to fruit quality issues raised by Production and Quality Managers. Train new packers on production processes and fruit selection. Conduct continuous quality control checks across all packed products. Liaise with Load Controllers and the Production Supervisor to ensure product volumes and allocations are correct, including any High Risk items. Report quality concerns to the Quality Manager and elevate operational issues where needed. Monitor missing crates, leftover stock and returned products. Complete daily paperwork and supervise post-production activities. Oversee night-shift staff attendance, start / finish times and break adherence. Conduct internal staff investigations to maintain discipline on shift. Chair weekly production meetings with Line Leaders. Provide general support to the Production Manager as required. Skills & Experience Required Minimum 2 years’ experience within fresh produce or food manufacturing. 1–2 years’ experience supervising or managing staff. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards. Confident team leader with the ability to oversee operations in the Production Manager’s absence. Organised, methodical, and hands‑on work ethic. Strong communication and numerical skills. Energetic, driven, and focused on continuous improvement. Willing and able to work night shifts. Working Hours (Night Shift) 40 hours per week : Sunday : 10pm – 8am Monday : 10pm – 8am Tuesday : 10pm – 8am Wednesday : 10pm – 8am #J-18808-Ljbffr
