Join our Animal Unit team and play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of care for our Colleges animal collection. Responsibilities Care for a wide variety of animals including livestock, poultry, exotic mammals, fish, reptiles, and amphibians. Clean accommodation and provide daily feeding. Maintain accurate animal records and conduct regular health checks. Administer medication as required. Uphold health, safety, hygiene and security procedures across the Animal Unit and practical areas. Support learners with practical tasks and supervise volunteers. Qualifications This role will involve lone working on a Sunday, some Saturdays and some bank holidays. You will need to be self‑motivated and have excellent time management. Successful candidates will hold a Level 2 Animal Care qualification or have significant professional experience.
