Overview British Esports is entering a transformative period of growth. We are seeking a Content Manager who is first and foremost a creator. Someone who can capture powerful photography, produce compelling video, deliver polished design work, and bring our organisation’s activities to life through a wide variety of media. This role will be central to how we tell our story across multiple business units, including British Esports Federation, the National Esports Performance Campus, The Place, and The Arena. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, and is adept at managing a busy workload. Whether producing brochures, documenting events, creating commercial materials, shooting interviews, flying the drone, or producing short and long form video for digital channels, the Content Manager will have the opportunity to work across a broad and fulfilling creative landscape. Key Responsibilities Content Creation and Production Capture high quality photography and video to document events, activities, commercial opportunities, reviews and daily operations. Film interviews, features, promotional content, podcasts, and community pieces, ensuring polished on-brand output. Operate cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and the organisation’s drone safely and confidently. Edit photography and video using Adobe Creative Cloud to produce assets suitable for social media, websites, printed materials, and event collateral. Produce marketing materials such as brochures, esports competition graphics, presentations, and commercial content for print and digital distribution. Brand and Creative Delivery Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines for British Esports Federation, NEPC, The Place, and The Arena. Adapt tone, style, and visual approach for different audiences, channels, and business units. Maintain visual consistency and uphold high production standards across all content types. Social Media Integration and Collaboration Work closely with the Social Media Manager to develop assets that support the social calendar, paid & organic campaigns. Understand how content translates to social platforms including formats, pacing, aspect ratios, and trends. Partner and External Collaboration Collaborate with external partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to produce content for email campaigns, partner activations, and co-branded initiatives. Ensure all partner output meets brand standards, contractual requirements, and visual guidelines. Capture materials required for partner deliverables and ensure timely delivery. Creative Development and Innovation Stay current with new tools, techniques, equipment, and creative trends. Explore emerging formats and approaches to elevate the organisation’s content output. Bring forward ideas, concepts, and storylines that support both commercial goals and community engagement. Essential Skills and Experience Proven experience as a content creator with a strong portfolio of photography, video, and design work. Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Premiere, and InDesign. Confident operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment. Strong understanding of how content supports social media strategy including formats, tone, and optimisation. Ability to consistently produce on brand content and maintain consistent visual standards. Capable of identifying content needs early and producing required assets to meet deadlines. Comfortable working with external partners and delivering content for email marketing and partner activations. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Confident engaging with people on camera, directing contributors, and capturing authentic moments. Collaborative mindset with an ability to work closely with the Social Media Manager and the broader Commercial team. Desirable Experience in a high-paced agency or commercial environment with an interest in esports, education, event promotions or property marketing. Knowledge of streaming setups and live production workflows. Drone pilot certification or experience flying drones confidently and creatively. Comfortable appearing in photography and video content where appropriate. Experience producing educational, commercial, or community focused content.
