All About the Role We have a key career opportunity available for a driven, passionate Business Development Sales Executive to increase sales, build & manage a portfolio of current & new customers. Building long term mutually beneficial and profitable relationships. For the right candidate progression to Business Development Manager over the next 1-2 years would be achievable depending on your progression in the role. Specific tasks include : Strive to increase sales, seek to secure profitable new market share and gross margin growth. Lead negotiations with potential customers and build relationships to maximise commercial opportunities with them. Process sales enquiries / orders through to completion. Manage & work within multiple sales ledgers Be an ambassador for high customer service standards that seek to build long term customer retention levels. All About You You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way. Essential Skills for the role : Previous business development / sales experience within a demanding sales environment, ideally steel related or within the construction sector and have a proven record of building up B2B accounts and delivering results. A strong understanding of the sales process. Builds relationships quickly, has a proactive attitude & approach. Thrives off working to targets and KPI’s. High level of commitment with a positive “can do “ attitude Can drive & has a full UK driving licence.
