Senior Consultant, Enterprise Resilience at Northern Trust Overview Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Resilience to join the Operational Resiliency Oversight Function within the Global Operational Resiliency Office. This role supports Global Services and C&IS (Asset Servicing) with oversight reporting, execution of resiliency initiatives, and collaboration with the team manager and wider business on key projects. The role may lead small projects and provide guidance to colleagues. Responsibilities Involved in business dependency oversight; monitor risks and vulnerabilities across all services. Contribute to Management Information reporting, investigate areas of concern, and track remediation activities. Review resiliency metrics for accuracy and usefulness in supporting the Resiliency Strategy. Input into the resiliency program, covering the Operational Resiliency Risk Attestation framework and monitoring Global Services and C&IS adherence. Help maintain Value Chain Mapping documentation for Important Business Services and coordinate validation through the attestation/champions framework. Monitor and review impact of new products and organizational changes on C&IS and Global Services resiliency strategy. Engage in internal and external audits, ensuring timely data delivery and effective closure of audit findings. May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. Serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Skills/Experience Several years of experience in operational control and/or resiliency. Strong knowledge of operational resiliency, including disaster/business recovery, business continuity management, 3rd party vendor/outsourcing, and corporate risk policies and standards. Strong understanding of risk management practices including cyber security as it applies in Financial Services, including regulatory impact on operational resiliency matters. Strong understanding of data analytics and tools including Power BI. Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to drive to execution. Applies knowledge of key business drivers and factors that maximize department performance.
