Locum Senior Clinical Fellow Urology – Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Senior clinical fellow for a 9‑month maternity cover, ending 30 June 2025. Core urology surgical expertise is essential. The candidate will perform flexible cystoscopy, JJ stent insertion and inguinal‑scrotal procedures without supervision. The successful applicant will work within the urology team and commit to core urology activities, including outpatient clinics, main theatre and day surgery operating lists, flexible cystoscopy lists and trans‑rectal prostate biopsy lists. Attendance at the weekly oncology MDT and bi‑monthly continence MDT meetings is required. On‑Call The urologists work a 1:8 rota with prospective cover. On‑call duties cover in‑patients at both sites and A & E in QEH site only (UHL A&E remains covered by GSTT). Teaching A regular morbidity and mortality meeting is attended by all department members. The post‑holder will participate in teaching medical students, foundation doctors and core surgical and specialist trainees.
