Sweco Building Control provides a full suite of Building Control services with a client‑centred approach. We anticipate regulatory issues and work in partnership to deliver successful projects. We are at the forefront of the industry, especially in meeting responsibilities imposed through the Building Safety Act and BCAR processes. What does the role involve? Undertake plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval. Undertake site visits, prepare site visit reports, and witness tests (a full, valid driving licence is essential). Attend client and design team meetings to give professional advice regarding building control work. Be familiar with and use the management systems, including compliance with the Quality Management system. Operate in accordance with the commercial requirements of the projects (costs and programme).
