Project Coordinator – Gaborone (Headquarters) Tebelopele is a non‑profit health and wellness organization dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of communities across Botswana for over 20 years. The organization operates 18 facilities across rural, urban and town areas and provides comprehensive HIV and sexual and reproductive health services in partnership with local ministries and international agencies. Responsibilities Draft monthly, quarterly, annual and final reports, proposals, briefing memos, work plans and other relevant written materials for Tebelopele partners. Ensure achievement of all indicators as specified under the Global Fund guidelines. Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring expenditures stay within limits and financial reporting aligns with Global Fund and Tebelopele accounting procedures. Organize and participate in the formulation of project/program documents, including descriptions, work plans and budgets. Implement and monitor program activities, liaising with sites, DMSACs and partners for testing, education interventions and health surveys. Conduct monitoring visits to assigned programs and undertake corrective measures as needed. Draft program and budget revisions, prepare periodic budget revisions, and coordinate with colleagues on all administrative and financial matters. Serve as focal point for program area, systematically collecting and updating related information. Competencies Analytical and problem‑solving skills Negotiation, team‑management and organizational skills Interpersonal and communication skills Finance and accounting knowledge Strong Microsoft Office skills Education & Qualifications Degree in Development Economics, Public Health, Social or Physical Sciences, Public Administration, Management or a related field. Desirable: Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Project Management or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the HIV/AIDS field. Skills, Knowledge & Experience Minimum four years’ experience in the provision of HIV/AIDS and health services. Project management experience, including supervisory responsibilities. Up‑to‑date knowledge of HIV/AIDS issues in Botswana. Proficient computer skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
