Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and autonomous Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Crisis and Home-Based Treatment Team.As a Band 6 OT, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering responsive, recovery-focused interventions to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. Working across community settings--including service users' homes--you'll help stabilise mental health, promote independence, and prevent hospital admissions.You'll be collaborating within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team across Hull and the East Riding. This is a unique opportunity to lead on specialist OT input, contribute to service development, and support junior staff while upholding trauma-informed, person-centred care.You will manage a specialist caseload and deliver evidence-based OT interventions and conduct holistic assessments, care planning, and risk management. You will supervise and support junior staff, students, and Assistant Practitioners and provide expert OT advice to colleagues across disciplines. You will contribute to service development, clinical audits, and quality improvement projects.
