Responsibilities Provide expert clinical leadership and oversight during shifts, acting as the senior point of contact. Mentor, support, and supervise junior staff, fostering a positive learning environment. Coordinate patient flow within the team, and multidisciplinary teamwork. Conduct rapid assessments of deteriorating patients and escalates care appropriately. Champion safety, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and policies. Manage complex situations and clinical incidents, ensuring robust documentation. Role‑model exceptional, compassionate care and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Optimise resource allocation and support the Team Lead and Associate Director of Nursing for People with Mental Health Needs in daily operational delivery. The Trust was formed on 1st August 2010 through the integration of Croydon Community Health Services and Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust.
