Job Summary Dedicated to providing exceptional nursing care in a Wound Clinic environment. Join the Wound Healing Service Team in Telford and Shropshire. Main Duties Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care for patients. Provide a plan of care using trust policies and pathways. Provide holistic assessment of patients' needs and make onward referrals. Ensure safeguarding needs are met and IPC policies followed. Support junior staff and students in achieving learning outcomes. Liaise with senior nurse, Tissue Viability staff, GP’s, and wider MDT. Participate in audits to ensure quality and improvement. Participate in ordering clinic stock and dressing supplies, ensuring stock rotation. Support senior nurse and cover when needed. Experience of successful partnership working arrangements with other services. Previous community/wound care/tissue viability experience. Engaging and empowering approach, evidence‑based practice, autonomous work within competency, IT skills, general tissue viability knowledge and skill.
