Main Duties Provide specialist nursing care intervention and education to patients and staff within a variety of care settings. Undertake triage duties for patients requiring tissue viability assessment. Deliver education programmes to patients, carers and clinicians. Manage own workload and meet goals and deadlines. Deputise for the clinical lead when required. Speciality Level 6 qualification (e.g., Tissue Viability Theory, Leg Ulcer Management, Pressure Ulcer Module). Willingness to undertake Debridement and Independent Nurse Prescribing Course (or already completed). Evidenced continual professional development in tissue viability. Essential Experience Experience in tissue viability issues with patients with wounds. Managing a caseload of patients. Delivering education to staff, patients and carers. Working in a multi‑disciplinary/multi‑agency health/social care environment. Knowledge within tissue viability. Essential Knowledge and Skills Practical skills and knowledge in tissue viability. Clear verbal communication of techniques for training programmes. Managing own workload to meet goals and deadlines. Deputising in absence of the clinical lead. Initiating appropriate action for deteriorating patients. Understanding safeguarding issues and participating in investigations. Willingness to develop own clinical skills and participate in ongoing professional development. Essential Other Ability to meet the travel requirements across a large geographical area.
