Role The Patient Advice Liaison Service (PALS) is a key part of MFT’s commitment to delivering a forward‑thinking, patient‑focused service. In this role you will handle concerns about care raised by patients and their families, striving for immediate, satisfactory resolution in partnership with hospitals, MCS, MLCO and complainants. Key Responsibilities Work by telephone, email and face‑to‑face to manage a less complex caseload under a PALS facilitator’s guidance. Investigate what went wrong and help establish a satisfactory resolution. Conduct operational and administrative duties to provide an accessible, responsible service to patients and their representatives. Liaise with staff and patients, recognising the diverse needs of all clients. Maintain organisational and administrative systems knowledge, ensuring high quality record keeping. Cross‑site cover at Manchester Royal Infirmary, Trafford General Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital as required. Location Base: Wythenshawe Hospital, Entrance 5.
