Qualifications / Proven Skills and Knowledge HND/Degree in Civil Engineering Proven Water Utility experience, Drainage, Foul, Water Mains, Storage, Combined Sewer Overflow … Proven Design and Management Experience Water Industry Specification knowledge – CESWI, WIMES Responsibilities Own and ensure technical integrity of project solutions throughout the lifecycle. Deliver accurate, compliant designs aligned with customer requirements and statutory standards, regulations, and specifications. Manage external design consultants and enforce contractual obligations. Oversee development of robust, reliable, and maintainable asset designs meeting project objectives. Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams to achieve required design standards. Prepare and control engineering budgets, schedules, and change management processes. Ensure outputs comply with Health & Safety legislation, quality systems, and best practices. Evaluate designs, support supply chain selection, and collaborate with stakeholders. Liaise with project and engineering managers on scope, risks, and technical issues. Maintain understanding and coordination of Temporary Works and associated responsibilities.
