Role Description
This role is for a Paid Social Account Manager, working on our Disney Shop client. The Account Manager leads the day-to-day activity and priorities for the client, working towards short and long-term client goals. Reporting into the Biddable Group Account Director, you will be collaborating on creating the strategic roadmap and development of your client's accounts, the planning of upcoming activity and the organization of your team. You will work with junior team members, and be responsible for organizing their workload, overseeing the quality of their work and training needs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Digital Marketing
- Establish an understanding of all areas of KINESSO's expertise and the products/services we can provide to your clients
- Contribute in developing new products and ways of working that improve Paid Social results
- Develop an understanding of the various digital media channels (Display, eRetail, Paid Search) and the role of Paid Social
- Help to educate the clients on Paid Social strategies and tactics; engage clients in the world of digital communications by demonstrating its direct response, creative and brand building abilities
- Manage our relationships with platform reps, and represent the client's goals and objectives during strategic meetings
- Keep up to date with and lead the testing of new Paid Social products and platforms, including advanced features and beta trials.
Leadership & Management
- Lead the day-to-day client relationship, campaign or project development and execution
- Ensure that all client campaigns follow the internal Paid Social process
- Provide consistent and effective support to Account Directors / Client Services / Performance and Strategy teams
- Prepare and lead performance review presentations
- Lead development of regular results analysis & reporting, recommendations and presentations
- Lead meetings and discussions and ensure accurate contact reports are issued within 24 hours
Excellence in Client Service
- Work to understand your client's pressures and internal demands to ensure KINESSO provides the right response at the right time in the right manner
- Build an understanding of the client's business and digital marketing objectives, and develop strategies to help meet those objectives
- Effectively set and manage client expectations
- Understand individual client needs (on specific projects and beyond) so you can help them be successful in their roles, and to their bosses; ensure clients have the necessary information and materials they need to do their jobs well
- Ensure all media schedules, forecasts and recommendations are fit for client and it's easy for the client to access
- Provide counsel to client's marketing issues and opportunities, engaging the Group Account Director as appropriate
- Monitor your client's competitors and their activity
People Management
- Actively nurture the goal of making KINESSO an enjoyable place for staff to work and for clients to engage with
- Develop the skills and knowledge of the Account (Senior) Executive(s) through mentoring, supervision and providing feedback on performance
- Delegate the appropriate tasks and the appropriate amount of tasks to ensure an acceptable workload
- Identify opportunities for Account (Senior) Executive(s) to take ownership of tasks or projects to develop and grow
Desired Skills & Experience
- You must have Paid Social experience, responsible for planning and managing campaigns across Meta, TikTok and ideally a 3rd platform
- Experience managing large budgets and delivering strong results for large brands across multiple markets and product types
- Be a trusted, knowledgeable source of information and developments in Paid Social developments and market trends
- Communicate effectively at all levels, both up and down
- Able to work in high pressure environment and resolve client issues
- Analytical, yet operate strategically, with understanding of the 'big picture'
- 'Hands-on' approach to operations: Plans, assigns and directs work, time, material, people
- Work with an attitude of 'it's up to me to make it happen'
