Intro to the role:

We are looking for a paid social specialist to continue their career as Account Manager. This person will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of a busy client account (or accounts). They will work with the line manager to help oversee more junior team members with the overall aim of delivering flawless paid social campaigns for clients. The ideal candidate has good working knowledge of paid advertising across one or more of the key social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap, TikTok, etc).

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management

  1. Developing comprehensive paid social media plans that align with client's objectives and KPIs.
  2. Responsible for end-to-end setup of paid social campaigns across all relevant social platforms.
  3. Ensure regular quality assurance checks are undertaken by everyone working on the account.
  4. Monitor campaign performance and pacing to ensure all activity delivers as expected.
  5. Produce detailed & accurate weekly/monthly campaign performance reports.
  6. Write performance commentary that delivers valuable insight and recommendations to clients.
  7. Produce more detailed analysis including end-of-campaign reporting.

Client & Partner Management

  1. Act as a key social point-of-contact for your client(s).
  2. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the media and technology developments that influence your client's business.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key media partners including Meta, Twitter, Snap, TikTok, and others.

People Management

  1. Ensure effective management of more junior team members.
  2. Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Attend regular internal meetings and training sessions.
  4. Assist with the recruitment process for the team.

Operational Excellence

  1. Identify opportunities to test and innovate in the paid social space.
  2. Work with line-manager to develop and implement testing agendas for clients.
  3. Ensure paid social activity complements and enhances the wider marketing mix.
  4. Responsible for accurate and timely fulfilment of mandatory agency finance processes.

About You:

  1. Experience working in a digital marketing or agency-based role.
  2. Extensive experience setting up and optimising paid social campaigns.
  3. Experience planning large-scale paid social campaigns.
  4. Experience compiling detailed and insightful end-of-campaign reports.
  5. Strong relationship-building skills.
  6. Collaborative and friendly team player.
  7. Some experience line managing individuals and/or helping to train others across paid social would be preferable.
