Responsibilities Establish and maintain a trusting, therapeutic, working relationship with client, family & Case Manager Support the client in line with the Care Plan guidance Promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the workplace Promote effective communication with all parties Contribute to the protection of individuals from abuse Liaise with other agencies when required Complete daily records as advised including timesheets, care plan summaries and critical incidents, petty cash etc. Attend supervision, team meetings and other meetings with the employer and other persons as nominated by the employer Attend training sessions as arranged Support the client with daily living activities, maintaining independence and household chores Support the client with accessing health appointments and medication administration Support the client to attend and participate in a range of community activities Carry out therapy sessions as advised by treating professionals Operate at all times in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures Provide a flexible working pattern, including working out of core hours, weekends and public holidays Undertake any other duties as reasonably required to meet the changing needs of the service Service user focus Health and safety Leading, managing and planning Company standards Teamwork Communication Medical Qualifications Experience of working with clients with brain injury and/or neurological conditions in a community setting Experience of working with clients with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours desirable but not essential Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual Self‑confidence and ability to manage challenging situations Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong organisational, time‑management and planning skills, with a commitment to self‑management and continuous personal development IT literate with use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook Flexible, professional and a positive approach to multi‑site working Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping Full UK driving licence required Work Schedule and Pay 36 hours per week on a rolling rota, 7 days per week Day shifts: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm Wake night shifts: 8:00 pm – 8:00 am Sleep night shifts: 10:00 pm – 7:00 am £16.00 per hour weekdays/waking nights (sleep rate 11 pm‑8 am Mon‑Thurs £109.89) £18.00 per hour weekend days/waking nights (sleep rate 11 pm‑8 am Fri‑Sun £119.89) 25 days plus bank holidays Legal Notice Please note we are recruiting Male and Female Support Workers, and a Team leader due to a genuine occupational requirement of the person we support; therefore this role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9. #J-18808-Ljbffr
