Assist in scheduling and coordinating asset inspections, ensuring optimal routing and resource allocation.Liaise with internal teams (e.g. Asset Management, Traffic Management, Maintenance, and Operations) and external contractors/suppliers to ensure smooth logistics operations.Support the booking of road space, arrangement of traffic management, and coordination of site access equipment (e.g. MEWPs, plant) for inspection teams.What You’ll Be DoingData Management and AdministrationMaintain accurate records of inspection schedules and personnel movements using the programme.Support the Asset Inspection Logistics Manager in managing and updating the asset inspection database and associated systems.Assist with the collection, organisation, and preliminary analysis of logistics data to identify efficiencies.Prepare and process documentation, permits, and reports related to inspection logistics.Assist with drafting and administering subcontractor indents and requisitions.Resource Management SupportHelp track the availability and calibration status of inspection equipment.Support the Asset Inspection Logistics Manager in monitoring budget spend related to logistics activities.Compliance and SafetyContribute to ensuring all logistics activities comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and relevant industry standards (e.g. COSHH, working at height, driving regulations).Assist in documenting and reporting any logistical issues or near misses (e.g. HIPO).Who We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:Experience in a logistics, coordination, or administrative support role, ideally within an operational or technical environment.Experience working in an office environment, organising works, shifts, or rotas.Competent in using basic office software, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.NVQ in Business and Administration.Inspiring : Champions curiosity and continuous improvement, role modelling change and managing risks to achieve project outcomes.Energising: Role models positive and energised project focussed attitudes towards and continuous improvement.Challenging : seeks and advocates improvements to add value and drive continuous performance.Challengeable : Encourage a culture of skilled challenging and seek to understand and explore challenge to enable improvement.Influencing : Builds commitment and consensus, and role models CPS leadership behaviours to deliver our goals.Why Work for Us?At Connect Plus Services (CPS), you’ll be part of a world-class team maintaining and operating the M25, Europe’s busiest motorway.
