Children and Family Wellbeing Service (Early Help) Lancashire County Council provides early help and support to children, young people aged 0-19 years+ (25 years for young people with special educational needs and disabilities) and their families across Lancashire. The service focuses on minimising disadvantage and ensuring children and families get the right support, at the right time. As a Family Support Worker within the Family Intensive Support team (FIS), you will undertake appropriate assessment of the needs of Children, Young People, and their families, in line with the Early Help Assessment Framework and the Team around the Family methodology. You will deliver identified interventions as part of an agreed action plan to achieve positive outcomes, carrying a caseload of children and young people with unmet needs. Some work will be complex and challenging and may be at the level of intensive support (Level 3). You will record information in the agreed Case Management IT system in line with the Service\'s Professional Recording Standards.
