Overview We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join a well-established manufacturing organisation. This role is critical in driving profitable growth across multiple product portfolios by managing existing ranges and introducing new products that align with the company's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities New Product Development (NPD) : Lead and manage all aspects of the NPD process, from concept through to launch. Prepare detailed product briefs including technical specifications, pricing targets, sales forecasts, and launch timelines. Develop project and launch plans in collaboration with Marketing and other departments. Product Portfolio Management : Monitor and analyse product performance against sales and margin targets, implementing corrective actions where necessary. Define and maintain business models for new and existing SKUs. Ensure all technical, sales, and support documentation is in place for successful product launches. Market & Strategy : Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Develop pricing strategies to maximise profitability. Gather and analyse Voice of Customer (VOC) data to inform product decisions. Operational Planning : Forecast demand and update ERP systems accordingly. Participate in SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) meetings to support inventory and manufacturing decisions. Maintain optimised inventory levels for finished goods and raw materials. Strategic Contribution : Assist in the preparation of annual strategic and operational plans. About You Degree-level qualification in a technical or business-related discipline (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3 years' experience in product management, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends. Proactive, innovative, and commercially focused.
