Operational Manager 9194 – Norfolk County Council Contract: Permanent | Salary: £34,434 – £36,363 per annum (Scale H) | Hours: 37 per week | Location: The Hive, Norwich Community Hospital "Care for others. Make a difference" Overview Operational Manager 9194 will be part of the Norfolk First Support Operational Management team, leading a line group of Reablement Assistant Practitioners and Reablement Support Workers. The role involves supporting the delivery of care and support in the community, ensuring reablement staff deliver reablement plans that support the delivery of care and support to adults in their own homes for up to six weeks following an illness or hospital admission. Norfolk First Support is part of the wider Norfolk First Response Service, which includes Swift Response and Grays Fair Court. Responsibilities Line manage a team of Reablement Assistant Practitioners or Reablement Support Workers, providing daily support, guidance, and regular supervision / team meetings to maximize the delivery of a quality service. Work in partnership with other professionals, including voluntary and community services, to provide the best possible care to people and their carers. Liaise with Registered Service Managers, Reablement Assistant Practitioners and other Operational Managers on delivery issues. Monitor electronic staffing and scheduling systems to ensure the smooth running of the service. Apply good communication skills with members of the public; exercise judgement and initiative and plan and prioritize own work. Work within a multi‑disciplinary team, applying current policy, practice and legislation within Health and Social Care.
