About the role The atmosphere at the Halifax site is fast‑paced, results‑driven, and supportive. Your role as Site Administrator is absolutely vital – you'll be the organisational lynchpin that keeps the site running smoothly. You'll interact daily with every department, making you an integral and highly valued member of the team. We believe in investing in our people, so you'll have opportunities to develop your skills and take ownership of key administrative processes. The Site Administrator is central to the Halifax operation, acting as a highly dynamic site generalist supporting all Marshalls trading divisions. Key responsibilities include managing the Point of Sale (POS) and Marketing Material Portfolio, providing crucial administrative support for internal sales and front office planning, and serving as a primary administrative contact for high‑level customers. Operationally, the role involves streamlining technical team workflows and expertly managing the site's job issuance process – from receiving job requests via email or job sheets, to recording and efficiently dispatching them to the shop floor for production, alongside handling ad‑hoc requests promptly. Responsibilities Ensure that quality incidents / non‑conformances result in all affected product or material being contained and identified as unavailable for sale, ensuring that colleagues in sales are made aware of any service risk. Any potential product changes (e.g., poor quality RPL / RTW) are known, communicated to stakeholders, and that appropriate plans are put in place to manage stock segregation and minimise customer impact. Make sure that all production, stock information and records are maintained in a timely manner and accurately to facilitate the efficient and economical supply of finished goods. Ensure that all items produced are supported by a production order to facilitate accurate and timely production and accounts data whilst providing an audit trail. Investigate and solve production order discrepancies. Identify variations and propose solutions to limit impact. Ensure all items purchased are supported by an authorised requisition where necessary, providing an audit trail. Investigate and solve invoice queries. Support the site management team by providing the required data and reports. Our Vision Our vision is to Create Better Places and Futures for Everyone – Socially, Environmentally and Economically.
