About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will deliver clear, instruction‑led support through focused one‑to‑one and small‑group work. You'll help pupils follow routines, stay on task, and develop stronger learning habits using straightforward, goal‑driven strategies. The environment demands control, reliability, and an organised approach. Key Responsibilities Targeted Support: Deliver structured academic assistance and practical interventions. Classroom Execution: Implement tasks, adapted materials, and subject‑focused activities with precision. Behaviour & Regulation: Apply consistent, firm strategies to build discipline, self‑management, and focus. Performance Monitoring: Log key behaviours and provide direct updates to teaching staff. Professional Coordination: Work efficiently with staff and external teams to maintain aligned expectations. Qualifications Experience in education, SEN, youth work, sports coaching, or similar structured settings. A steady, controlled approach with strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Confidence following clear behaviour frameworks and executing set plans. A proactive, independent mindset with strong situational awareness.
