The organization is seeking a visionary Director of Operations to run this manufacturing site, focused on delivering its highly technical and unique products to key customers in the semiconductor and industrial space. In this high‑impact, strategic leadership role, they will be responsible for P&L oversight, operations (EHS, supply chain etc), engineering performance, and people leadership over 200 employees. This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction and transformation of this key site within a globally recognized organization while championing safety, innovation, and operational excellence. Job Responsibilities Lead all business operations, including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, sales, finance, and HR. Drive cultural transformation with leadership teams and work closely with stakeholders across the global business. Strong P&L / Accounting background to drive success within the business ($XX million) with a focus on continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and working capital optimization. Build and empower a high‑performing leadership team across the UK facility. Champion a lean and operational excellence/CI initiatives. Strengthen organizational capabilities by driving employee development, engagement, and succession planning. Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support growth and innovation. Navigate cross‑cultural team dynamics with global partners and ensure effective technology transfer and execution. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field. Proven success in leading large‑scale technical operations with P&L experience. Deep expertise in manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain leadership within a high‑tech or industrial setting. Strong understanding of semiconductor/electronics manufacturing is preferred. Experienced in driving organizational change and continuous improvement strategies. Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
