Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this is a senior leadership role with responsibility for overseeing a globally distributed AR team and managing annual collections in excess of £100m. The role will play a critical part in strengthening working capital performance, embedding robust controls, and driving continuous improvement across end-to-end order-to-cash processes as the business continues to scale internationally.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring efficient billing, cash collection and timely settlement of invoices, supporting effective working capital management
• Standardising AR processes and controls globally, partnering closely with finance, operations, commercial and legal teams
• Owning the credit policy and credit risk assessment framework across all geographies
• Defining, monitoring and delivering against cash collection KPIs
• Overseeing the accurate generation of customer invoices in line with statutory, regulatory and taxation requirements
• Acting as a key finance partner across the order-to-cash cycle, supporting process improvement and systems development
• Managing financial risks including credit exposure, foreign exchange considerations and master data integrity
• Serving as a key contact for internal and external audits
• Taking ownership of global duty and tax recharge processes, including associated people leadership and improvement initiatives

Candidate profile:

The role will suit an established AR leader with international experience who is comfortable operating in a complex, fast-moving environment.
Essential experience and skills include:

• Senior-level accounts receivable leadership in an international or multi-entity environment
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts receivable, credit control and cash collection best practice
• Understanding of credit risk, trading environments, and duty and tax considerations
• Advanced people management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving capability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
• Confident, clear communicator able to influence at all levels

An ICM qualification (or equivalent) is required. Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel capability are advantageous.
