We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Systems & MI Advisor (HESA) to join our HR Systems team, within the People & Organisational Development (P&OD) Directorate. About the team Our P&OD Directorate is committed to delivering high‑quality HR services across the University. Within HR Operations, the HR Systems team plays a vital role in managing HR data, systems, and reporting. We work collaboratively to ensure compliance, accuracy, and actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making. About the role We are seeking a highly motivated HR Systems & MI Advisor (HESA) to join our HR Systems team. You will be the subject matter expert for the annual HESA Staff return, managing the process end‑to‑end to ensure accurate and compliant submission. In addition, you will : deliver high‑quality HR reporting using Oracle OTBI, support data uploads and integrations for HR operations, champion data quality and governance. Working closely with HR, Payroll, Research & Innovation, and Strategic Planning, you'll play a key role in delivering statutory returns and insights that inform strategic decisions. About the candidate We are looking for someone with advanced Excel skills and strong data manipulation expertise, combined with a solid understanding of HR data and processes. You will also have : excellent analytical and communication skills, experience in data validation and reconciliation, knowledge of HESA requirements a degree, or equivalent experience, in data analytics or HR systems. Familiarity with Oracle HCM and OTBI reporting tools is highly desirable, along with experience coordinating or contributing to statutory data submissions.
