A talented and motivated Quality Manager is sought to work within the stem cell transplant clinical and collection services to maintain the quality management system in line with JACIE, HTA and other regulatory bodies as required, and to facilitate inspections by them. The post holder should have excellent IT skills, be well organized and methodical with good communication skills. On the job training for Quality Management software will be provided where required. The post holder will work in direct support of the Lead Cancer Quality Manager and other members of the Cancer Quality Team. The role will also include working with the wider cancer management team to ensure that the service objectives are achieved in a timely fashion in line with key Trust priorities and prevailing best practice or accreditation, licensing or regulatory requirements. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and continual development of the Quality Management System, in collaboration with the Cancer Quality Team and HSCT multi-disciplinary team. The postholder will ensure compliance with new healthcare regulations, standards, and policies (e.g. JACIE/(rb) HTA). Support the development of PPGs as well as developing and maintaining governance frameworks that clarify roles, responsibilities, and decision‑making processes. Oversee all HSCT related incidents and facilitate a multi-disciplinary review of reported incidents, errors and near misses. Ensuring incidents are investigated in a timely fashion, and that they are tracked and trended to identify areas for improvement. Ensure learning is shared across the service to improve patient safety, clinical quality, and service delivery. The postholder also supports the identification of training needs, in relation to any audit recommendations, incident reports or development of new policies, procedures and guidelines. The postholder will also be required to line manage the Assistant Quality Manager for Cellular Therapies. Lead on internal and external audits, inspections, and quality reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
