Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellowship in Neurovascular Neurosurgery. This is a full‑time post based at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), part of University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH). The NHNN is an internationally renowned hospital for clinical practice and world‑class clinical research in neurosciences and is closely associated with the Institute of Neurology (ION). The Victor Horsley Department of Neurosurgery provides a comprehensive elective and emergency neurosurgical service for the UCLH Trust and the surrounding community. Responsibilities Participation in neurosurgery clinics, peri‑operative and post‑operative management of neurovascular patients and being an integral member of the neurovascular multidisciplinary team. The role also includes dedicated time for professional supervision and development of trainee/junior doctors, undertaking research, publishing in peer‑reviewed journals and presenting at national and/or international conferences. Training and Development The fellowship is a fixed‑term, 12‑month post (with a possible second year) suitable for a post‑CCT (or equivalent) neurosurgical trainee wishing to develop skills in neurovascular neurosurgery in a major centre of excellence. The post is an ideal stepping‑stone for an experienced trainee to gain further experience in neurovascular surgery.
