Capital and Liquidity Senior Analyst - 6 Month FTC Join to apply for the Capital and Liquidity Senior Analyst - 6 Month FTC role at Nucleus Financial The Capital & Liquidity Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the monitoring, forecasting and reporting of our capital and liquidity positions across the Group as well as ensuring we meet our regulatory obligations by supporting the creation, development and maintenance of the Regulatory Capital and Liquidity frameworks, and Strategic risk assessment documents (including ICARA and ORSA) for Nucleus Financial Platforms Limited (“Group”). The role is within the Capital and Liquidity centre of excellence within the Group Finance Function at Nucleus Financial Platforms Limited. This role is crucial to ensuring the Group remains financially resilient and able to support achievement of strategic objectives. The Group is made up of entities across three principal regulatory regimes: MIFIDPRU (investment firms), IPRU-INV 5 (investment management firms), and UK Solvency II (long‑term linked life insurance firm). Responsibilities Support the end‑to‑end capital and liquidity stress test process including scenario design, analysis of outcomes and delivery of results, including governance approvals. Prepare capital and liquidity forecasts and stress tests to support business planning and risk identification and assessment across all entities within the group. Enhance MI, dashboards and reporting packs for senior management and governance forums (GALCO, ERCC, Board) Support the development of strategic regulatory deliverables including ICARA, ORSA and Wind‑Down Planning, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory regimes (MIFIDPRU Chapter 7, IPRU‑INV 5 and Solvency II UK). Support the development of capital and liquidity frameworks, policies and standards to embed a consistent and effective risk‑management culture. Maintain procedures and documentation for key regulatory deliverables in line with best practice. Perform regulatory rule interpretations and ensure relevant regulatory rules are complied with as they relate to capital and liquidity adequacy across the group. Proactively engage with relevant stakeholders across the group as required. Promote and encourage a risk culture that drives risk awareness and accountability within the business. Support the wider team as required. General Take responsibility in everything you do to deliver good outcomes for our customers. About you You will have: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, professional accountancy qualification or other relevant professional qualification e.g. AMCT, CFA Experience: Demonstrable experience in financial services, preferably in a treasury, capital or liquidity role Experience in financial modelling, cash flow analysis, and/or stress testing Strong understanding of regulatory expectations and good industry practice within financial services Strong planning, coordination and senior stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency with modelling, finance systems/tools and Microsoft Office such as Excel/PowerPoint. Personal Attributes: Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex financial regulation Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills You will be comfortable Working flexibly with some time required at the office.
