Capital & Reporting Analyst
Part qualified accountant required by Lloyd's syndicate business
Opportunity to become part of the actuarial function that plays a key role in the overall success of the business
With close interaction to senior management you will be responsible for providing analyses that helps to maintain a strong reputation in the industry and it's regulators, you will have strong technical and analytical skills, be able to deliver accurate analysesunder regulatory time constraints, and have a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities will include the performance of a variety of key functions, including capital model calculations and actuarial reporting for the business as well as Lloyd's.
- Support in delivering internal model calculations and analysis to senior management, Board and Lloyd's
- Perform Solvency II Standard Formula calculations including validation of assumptions.
- Assist in the completion of Lloyd's reporting requirements
- Assist in the completion of the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA).
- Timely delivery and communication of results, including important assumptions, to management (including the Chief Actuary and Chief Financial Officer).
- Perform all work adhering to governance, regulatory and professional standards, keeping up to date on changes in regulatory guidance and market best practice.
- Complete ad hoc requests from management, regulators and auditors as required, including support of pricing and reserving analyses.
- Recommend optimal capital structures and analyses to senior management. This would include analyses on optimal reinsurance purchase and various other strategic business decisions.
- Develop partnership with Finance, Claims and Underwriting, and build relationships with U.S. Actuarial and other areas of the business.

Experience with capital modelling, Solvency II reporting or pricing/ reserving is highly desirable.
