This role plays a key part in supporting NWG’s regulatory, governance and sustainability goals through effective communication. We’re looking for a proactive and adaptable communications professional who thrives on delivering clear and impactful messages. You will have strong project management skills and enjoy guiding complex regulatory reports from concept to publication. Attention to detail comes naturally whether your copy editing or proofreading to ensure our content meets branding, accessibility, and regulatory standards. You’ll also be passionate about ESG and play an exciting role in devising and managing Northumbrian Water Group’s ESG communications strategy, bringing different projects together into a clear strategy that connects with everyone. The successful candidate will be confident working with stakeholders and teams, building strong relationships. You’ll also support key corporate stakeholder activities and organise events. Overall, you’ll be a collaborative team player who can deputise for senior colleagues when required, providing leadership and championing best practice across the Corporate Affairs function. You’ll stay up to date with industry trends, bring fresh ideas, ensuring corporate communications align with organisational priorities. About You If you are an innovative communications professional, with a strategic mindset and the ability to stay laser focused , then we want to hear from you. You’ll be experienced in managing projects, using your communication skills to build strong relationships with people at all levels. In addition, you’ll use your eye for detail during report writing to ensure accuracy. Partnering with different teams is key within this role which means you’ll be able to collaborate across teams whilst juggling multiple priorities. Your resilience is key as you’ll step in with leadership support when help is needed. You’ll adapt your communication style to craft compelling messages across various formats and audiences. This is key to ensuring complex messages are communicated clearly. You’ll also bring some experience in ESG or sustainability communications.
