**Regulatory Affairs Officer | East Kilbride | Full Time**
As a distributor of adhesives, specialty chemicals, and adhesive dispensing equipment, our client’s product portfolio is huge.
While based in East Kilbride will support all European Operations covering the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
Reporting to the Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will direct, lead and manage all aspects of Regulatory Affairs, relevant to the products and markets the company supply, from initial market authorisation, post authorisation review and ongoing monitoringof compliance to relevant regulatory requirements through all stages of the manufacturing/distribution processes and customer service provision.
This role will manage the coordination of REACH implementation for the group. The REACH delivery is critical for maintaining product imports in Europe and manufacturing in the UK.
**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Degree in a scientific discipline / or equivalent experience
- Experience of Regulatory Affairs in national/global markets in relation to chemicals, adhesives, epoxies/resins
- REACH experience essential - CLP is desirable.
- An understanding and knowledge of producing MSDS documentation
- Good technical skills, preferably with experience in the use and development of analytical testing methodology
- Effective and efficient time management with the ability to assess and analyse project progress
- Highly motivated with the ability to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
- Comfortable with setting priorities
**What will your role look like?**
- Determining and communicating to external and internal customers the global regulatory status of new and existing chemical products
- Preparing notifications and submissions to government agencies and competent authorities
- Gaining and maintaining proficiency in databases required for the generation and documentation of chemical information and product regulatory compliance
- Interfacing with business unit, research and development or other staff to acquire technical knowledge concerning products, keep Business Units advised of regulatory changes
