We have an opportunity for a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Applicants should meet the following criteria : Chartered Physiotherapist. Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice. Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements. Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools. Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management. Degree level educated. At least 2 years MSK experience. Duties of this role include : To manage a complex clinical MSK caseload Be able to know when to refer onto, podiatry or onto an APP or back to the GP when required. To take part in service training. To take an active role in supporting the implementation of national developments locally and supervise junior staff. To ensure appropriate referral onto different disciplines. Keep abreast of developments in physiotherapy nationally. Work well in an MDT clinic. Acupuncture would be a benefit but not essential.
