Bonus: Football MSK Physiotherapist at TipTopJob, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom Key details: Salary: £35k‑£45k (Band 6/7); Contract: Fixed‑term 8 months (may extend); Start: ASAP; Hours: up to 40 hrs/week, flexible with evenings and weekends. Responsibilities Lead, manage and oversee provision of medical services to all First Team Players. Deliver expert technical assessment and diagnostic skills, ensuring individualised treatment plans. Manage return to competitive play, including gym and outdoor rehabilitation. Promote and protect health and wellbeing of all Players. Lead medical rota/calendar to provide comprehensive care. Liaise regularly with Strength and Conditioning coach for rehab progressions, gym programmes, etc. Refer for scans, appointments, consultants, surgery and liaise with secretaries and players as appropriate. Oversee individual pre‑hab and exercise programmes. Lead assessment/testing of all MSK screening (pre‑signing medicals or baseline testing) and provide relevant information to First Team Manager. Manage and report progressions of individual programmes for medical team. Utilise testing to monitor changes or adaptations of strength or improvements in areas of concern. Oversee regular testing throughout the season and manage concerns appropriately. Qualifications & Requirements BSc/​MSc Physiotherapy. HCPC registration. ATMMI/F qualification preferred but not essential. Minimum 2 years EFL experience. Sports massage experience. Car driver with full UK driving licence. Pitch‑side first‑aid experience in EFL. DBS check. Knowledge and experience treating a wide range of MSK football‑specific injuries. Ability to effectively monitor and modify training and rehabilitation programmes according to clinical needs. Excellent time‑management skills, managing a varied caseload while ensuring administration duties kept up to date (referrals, etc.). Experience managing a medical team. FA anti‑doping whereabouts knowledge. Purpose Of The Role Within the First Team Medical Department, the Head Physiotherapist will provide exceptional physiotherapy services, injury prevention, and rehabilitation support to First Team Players. The role leads the Medical Team, working closely with coaching staff to optimise player performance and contribute to the overall success of the Team. Position is full‑time (fixed‑term). Working hours are flexible around club needs and may include evenings and weekends. Continuous Professional Development and up‑to‑date qualifications are expected.
