They are seeking a Finance Director who can act as a key strategic partner, while also being hands-on and customer-focused. This is a hybrid role requiring travel to Bristol at least 1-2 days a week.Key responsibilitiesServe as a strategic partner and leaderProvide financial insights and guidance as a trusted partner to the CEO and senior leadership teamLead the OKR process, ensuring goals are realistic and aligned with value creationManage stakeholders and communicate effectively with the BoardMentor and develop a high-performing finance teamTranslate complex models into understandable tools for various audiencesFinancial strategyDevelop financial strategies in collaboration with Product, People, Marketing, Support, Ops, and Data teams, focusing on customer valueLead initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operationsMaintain customer economic models (CAC, LTV, payback, retention) to inform budgeting, forecasting, and growth strategiesPlanning, forecasting, and performanceManage quarterly and annual budgets, reforecasting, and scenario planning, adapting as the business scales and innovatesCollaborate with functional leads to understand drivers of performance and enhance outcomesDefine and track key metrics related to efficiency, retention, growth, and profitabilityFinance operations, controls, and risk managementOversee finance operations, treasury, payroll, AP/AR, financial reporting, and complianceImplement robust financial controls and risk management practices to support sustainable growthEnsure financial systems are efficient, automated, and scalableStay compliant with regulatory requirements, including FCA standards, and prepare for auditsProfileProven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader in a fast-growing environment, preferably in tech, subscription, or fintech sectorsExperience working with senior leadership teamsStrong strategic, financial, and commercial acumenConfident in customer metrics such as CAC, LTV, payback, and retentionSkilled in financial modeling, scenario planning, and dynamic budgetingExcellent communicator, capable of presenting to investors and Boards with clarityTrack record of leading finance transformation and scaling initiativesKnowledge of financial regulations, ideally including FCAExperience with systems, automation, and scaling finance operationsEffective leadership with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsSeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinance and Accounting/AuditingIndustriesTechnology, Information and Media, Financial Services, Venture Capital, and Private EquityReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Talent4 by 2x.Get notified about new Financial Director jobs in London Area, United Kingdom. #J-18808-Ljbffr
