We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Demand Planner based in Luton for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. 

Summary of the Demand Planner role 

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Location: Luton 
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Working 5 out of 7 days including weekends

Responsibilities of the Demand Planner

Plan inbound deliveries to meet customer requirements whilst keeping costs to a minimum.
Develop and maintain demand forecasts.
Monitor and manage inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits.
Coordinate and liaise with Suppliers and Logistics providers.
Develop and execute production plans.
Analyse supply chain performance metrics and prepare reports on KPIs.
Risk management. 
Requirements for a successful Demand Planner

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
Proven Supply Chain Planner experience.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management and logistics.
Strong IT skills with advanced Excel and proficiency in using supply chain management software (ERP systems).
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
