The post-holder will be regarded as the highest purely clinical grade in the Imaging Department and, as such, will fulfil the requirements of their role within the Imaging team, demonstrating specialised knowledge and expertise in all modalities; therefore substantial experience is required.The post-holder will be required to deputise for the service lead and be responsible for the daily work programme. They will perform a range of diagnostic procedures as required throughout the department, managing patient priority as appropriate, and will produce high‑quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment while demonstrating high standards of care.The duties and responsibilities of the post holder require service delivery in a wide range of clinical environments, a diversity of patient presentations, and will involve lone working in particular areas or specialties and at particular times.The service is delivered on a shift basis, working 7:45am – 8pm seven days a week.The post is a rotational radiographer post, rotating through CT, MRI and X‑ray, both static and mobile units.The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s biggest and most innovative trusts.
